Labbes, or Mini Labs. Labbes are a cross between a Labrador Retriever, and a Beagle. This results in a dog that highly resembles a little, miniature Lab! This cross has been known for a long time as excellant hunting dogs! They have the scent of a hound, but the obedience and intelligence of the Labrador. They are also very nice for the Lab lover, who simply does not have the room for a full size Lab as a house pet. These are a perfect medium size, just right as housedogs! Very cute, smart, and loving, kid friendly dogs! Mature size depends partly on the parents, but usually average around 15 to 18 inches tall, and 30 to 50 pounds. Usually, but not always, colored like Labs, in the typical Black, Chocolate, or yellow colors. White may be present, especially in the chest.
About Our Labbes and Labbe Parents
We use our male Beagle, Tine, to sire our Labbes. Tine is just under 13 inches tall, extremily cute, and he just loves people! Tine sires Chocolate & Black Labbes. We also have Herbie, a lemon & white Beagle, to sire yellow and Fox Red Labbe puppies, and possible a few Blacks & Chocolates. Our female Labs are all smaller Labs, in Chocolate & Yellow colors. All of our Labs are very gentle, people loving, very smart dogs. Each one of our Labs have been carefully choosen for health, temperment, color, and all are smaller sized. Someday, we may breed some second generation Labbes, which would make spotted, or Beagle colored Labbes also possible? These sweet girls have adorable Labbes! Click HERE to see our Labbe Puppies!

"Alice Feldhaus", AKA "Minnie" is a Female AKC Fox Red Labrador Retriever.
Minnie is extra friendly, loving and very small! She is the unusual Red Fox color. Jumps up in arms. Housetrained, but is not very nice to the stuffed animals.

Natcha is very small, and very sweet! Likes to play, or just sit and be pet or scratched. Extra dark, rich chocolate color! Finds all of the toys to give to her puppies! Our shortest Lab. Housetrained.

Housetrained, very gentle, friendly, nice girl! Has had Lab & Standard Labradoodle puppies. Also, nice Labbe puppies!

Lemon & White colored. Herbie is very friendly and gentle! He is a young male, that shows a lot of promise to sire awesome puppies.

Lilly is our very smallest Lab! Though, she is very stocky built. Friendly, happy girl! Smart & playful!

Brauch is a little Pocket Puggle, (Beagle/Pug cross), out of Cocoa & Frank. (Both of which are AKC registered).
Brauch is super loving & friendly! He loves water & toys, with a personality very much like a Lab!
We hope to breed Brauch to some of our Labs someday, for little Mini looking Labs, with great temperments!
Our very long term plans include keeping a male Mini Lab puppy out of Brauch & one of our girls, in order to breed the keeper male pup to Labbe female puppies that we would keep out of Herbie and some of our other Lab girls. Therefore, we would have 2nd generation puppies that would be 1/2 Lab, 1/8 Pug, and 3/8 Beagle.
Brauch has shorter ears then Herbie, and a shorter nose, and blockier head. We believe that the puppies would be perfect!
